Breaking and Re-entering (2024) is a Taiwanese heist comedy directed by Leo Wang Ding-lin. The film follows Chang Po-chun, the charismatic leader of a gang of thieves, who orchestrates a daring bank robbery. However, things take an unexpected turn when Chang discovers that his ex-girlfriend, Shen Shu-wen, works at the bank they targeted. Realizing she has been framed for the crime, Chang decides to return the stolen money in a “reverse heist” to clear her name. The gang, including a master of disguise, a combat expert, and a tech-savvy hacker, faces numerous challenges as they attempt to put the money back into the bank vault.
