Vicky (Codi Vore), struggling after a string of personal setbacks, finds herself homeless and weary. After exhausting every option, she reaches out to her old friend Marcus (Seth Gamble), who warmly opens his home to her. Grateful and vulnerable, Vicky tries to find peace in the temporary comfort Marcus offers.
Marcus, though generous, wrestles with complex feelings—memories from their past and the changing dynamic of their friendship. He encourages her to relax, take a hot shower, and settle in, hoping to give her the space she needs to heal.
As Vicky begins to unwind, she senses an emotional tension lingering beneath the surface. Marcus’s concern starts to blur with something deeper, and both are forced to confront unspoken truths: about boundaries, about kindness, and about how people can unintentionally fail each other even while trying to do good.
