Chhaava (2025) is a historical action film based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai and Akshaye Khanna as Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
The film was released in theaters on February 14, 2025, and later made its OTT debut on Netflix on April 11, 2025. It became a massive box office success, earning between ₹793.82–804.85 crore, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025
